Flower watch

I present to you flower watch as per Dom :)

In no particular order - the yellow ones are nice to have near the kitchen sink, because they frame the garden. I like how they fall about and aren't perfectly manicured into the vase.

The lillies, I like on the dining room show table. I picked that table up in a car boot sale when I was still living with xB/F years ago. My mum has been saving for me. I knew it would look perfect :) I usually have 10 roses on that table - a different colour every other week. But I've gone back to lillies for this week only.

The mini yellow roses I bought for the garden, they're lovely to look at. I'll need to plant them into a pot this weekend if it doesn't rain. The other photos include my first pea pods for this year and other little flowers in the garden. The orange ones I bought two lots of - I planeted one in my mum's garden. The little white ones Karen described as little hearts. My garden doesn't look so colourful in the pictures for some reason or other. But I love being there after work or on the weekend when it's warm or sunny. There's lots of different flowers in the beds and other places like underneath the Hosta which you don't notice until you forage.

Tony

Just walking back from the canteen at lunch time today ... I saw this fella. His handler says he is marking his territory so the pigeons will move on and stop making a mess of our buildings. Isn't he sweet? His name is Tony. And yes he is a Hawk. I was allowed to touch him :) he cooed. Although he was malting and not at his best, I thought he looked very graceful and elegant.

He used to 'work' Trafalgar Square but he lost the contract :( I also so the local Heron on the way back to my office. I work in London.

Text from Crazy Saturday morning: my dreams have come true B/F proposed to me last night.

DarlingSibling stayed the weekend with her new B/F she bounces onto my bed asking me to do her makeup - I'm still asleep. She's grinning from ear to ear.

Email from Bristol girl's maid of honour this morning.
Blah blah blah ... As it's Bristol girl's hen day, I'm sure you'll agree that she shouldn't pay for her entry, so I hope you're ok with the cost being split between us all. blah blah

WTF? Fcuking hate it when people spend my money for me. Seriously is this the done thing? To organise a hen do for someone - invite people (people such as me who hasn't seen BristolGirl for probably 2 years, have to take the day off work to go to bloody Ascot, buy a new dress etc) and then just assume they'll chip in for her day?

Rant over. I'm seriously happy for Crazy and DarlingSibling :) and it's a beautiful day and all that crap.
